I became familiar with the work of LFMC early in my career and had varying working relationships with the clinic in each of my positions with state government. Becoming a board member is a natural fit as I look to providing volunteer service to the community.
Ms. Russell joined the board for the third time in 2011. She is retired from state government after twenty-five plus years in various programs that implemented and developed plans to improve overall health, access to health services and provide financing for services with an emphasis on persons who are uninsured or underinsured.
Ms. Russell graduated from the University of New Mexico with a degree in Anthropology and History.
