I have a strong belief that excellent health care is a right, not a privilege. I was looking for a way to give back to the community and jumped at the opportunity to serve on the LFMC board.
Ms. Tison also serves on the Finance Committee. She joined the Board in 2011.
Sharon received her BS degree in Mathematics and Education from NC State University and her accounting training from Santa Fe Community College. She worked in small business accounting for many years before moving to the School for Advanced Research in 1994.She is currently the School’s Vice President for Finance and Administration
