I am privileged to serve on the Board of La Familia Medical Center because it places patients first, is intently focused on its mission, and is very important to the community.
Dr. Smith joined the Board in 2007. He chairs the Finance Committee.
Dr. Smith practiced and taught medicine, then became Chief of Medicine, and subsequently Medical Director of a major, not-for-profit, teaching health care system. He concluded his career as President/CEO of that system.
