Bridget Andrew received her training as Family Medicine Physician Associate at the Yale University School of Medicine Physician Associate Program. Before coming to LFMC in 2010, Bridget was on the medical staff at Zuni Indian Health Service (PHS/IHS) Hospital in Zuni, NM for 8 1⁄2 years, completed an MPH in International Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, worked on vaccine development research with the Johns Hopkins Project in Gallup, NM, pursued a CDC/EIS fellowship, and practiced family medicine in Colorado and East Harlem, New York City. While in East Harlem, Bridget developed an Adolescent Medicine Program for high risk urban youth. She enjoyed working on a number of clinical program development projects while in Zuni, and the opportunity to deliver multi-generational, comprehensive family medicine to the Zuni community. BridgetÂ’s interests include delivery of patient and community-focused comprehensive family medicine, improving access to preventive, medical and specialty health care services, and epidemiology, clinical research, and health care systems. At La Familia, Bridget has enjoyed building a practice in adult and geriatric medicine, pediatrics and women's health, including prenatal, newborn care and adolescent medicine.
