I enjoy being able to get to know my patients and their families because it allows me to integrate care. Primary care gives me a chance to a part of happy events such as births as well as difficult parts of life such as a death or a diagnosis of a serious illness. It is a rewarding though frustrating field.
Dr. Chyorny attended medical school at the University of Iowa. She is particularly interested in mental health, family systems, obstetrics, pediatrics, cross cultural issues and medical education. Dr. Chyorny is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
She has been in Santa Fe since 2007.
