At La Familia Medical Center we know that breast-fed babies stay healthier and grow into healthier children.  Thats why we offer support to help you breast-feed your baby as long as you are able.   Breast-feeding is taught to all mothers whose babies are delivered by La Familia providers at Christus St. Vincent Hospital.  Our breast-feeding promotora begins the instruction in the hospital and continues the training at home and in the clinic.  We also offers a Lactation Center, which offers breast-pump rentals, education and support.
