La Familia Medical Center Awarded $40,000 by the Wal-Mart Foundation
The Wal-Mart Foundation has awarded La Familia Medical Center a $40,000 grant to support the Family Health and Fitness Program. The program will provide support to families who wish to alter their dietary and fitness habits to improve their overall health and to prevent the onset of chronic illnesses such as hypertension and diabetes.
